I looked at various options and courses. The HNC in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Middlesbrough College (MC) looks like a good course. The content is interesting and the level should be taxing but not onerous (hopefully).
The course is actually run by Teesside University (TU) but delivered by MC. It is also run by Redcar College and Stockton College (I think). I chose MC because they run the course on Tuesdays which is my slackest day at work.
